The CELLAstarr jacket is produced of impact resistant Polystyrene (PURtec PS). The CELLAstarr jacket is an alternative to the standard foam-in-place sheet metal jacket.

By using the PURtec PS, a damage to the surface during manipulation is prevented to a large extent. The cut outs in the CELLAstarr jacket are performed by an NC water jet unit and can be programmed customer specific. Perforations, pockets, custom contours, a.s.o. are not an issue for Greiner PURtec.

The finishing trim around the cut-outs for plumbing connections are made of split-ring thermoformed plastic. As the insulating cover we use a thermoformed lid.

The CELLAstarr jacket is mounted on tanks, which have been insulated by foam-in-place technology using a hook fastener trim locking system. Cut outs for the plumbing connections can be customer specified in either the jacket or the joint face.

Installing CELLAstarr jacket on an existing unit is a standard feature.
