Discussions about the standards of the optimum insulation are always popular during our technology days with our customers. These specifications are being prioritized in workshops. Thereby, a very important point is the easy and quick assembly of the insulation. Therefore, the request is always the same: it must be possible for a single person to assemble the insulation. A second very important point is the logistics. Shipping and handling should be as cost-efficient and space-saving as possible. Therefore, the soft-foam insulation is pre-assembled in the factory. Already, more than 2500 insulations a month are being shipped to customers by Greiner PURtec. Usually it takes two to three people to assemble an insulation, but by the help of our Thermodul Plus®*- solution, the assembly can be realized by a single person.
The assembler takes an insulating part at the non-overlapping side of the hook closure moulding and presses both hands for approximately 20 seconds to the ground until the insulating part is U-shaped. Afterwards, this procedure is repeated at the other insulating parts. Finally, the U-shaped parts are put together and closed up with the hook closure moulding. The assembly of the insulation in general is thereby finished.
